Hawk Review

For this month's Note Card Party hosted by Vee I had to choose some pictures from our hawk family (featured hereherehere and here).  We still see (and hear) the young hawks around the neighborhood.

Mama watching over her babies.

Oops -- one fell out!

Almost grown up -- "Who, me?"

Ready to fly!

The Note Card Party is hosted every month by Vee at A Haven for Vee.  Go here to see lots more entries, or to enter yourself :)

  6. These would make great cards for human fledglings preparing to leave home for uni or whatever! Glad you still see and hear the young hawks around though I guess they may be less cute and fluffy now!

  8. Hi Beth! How exciting to have the privilege of observing a family of hawks in your yard! We have sparrows and house wrens - but our neighborhood hawk comes through rarely. He has been in my yard twice - both times missed by my camera - though I got a great blurred shot of my deck! Not really Notecard material. You've got some winning shots here!

  17. Oh goodness, those are awesome. I can't believe you were able to get such great close ups, and that LAST one with the wings spread is my very favorite of all.

I love bird photos (and birds) of any kind.

  19. Angela! Let me first say "so sorry" for referring to you in my previous comment here as Beth. It was late and I wrote the name of the gal who commented before me as your name!! Forgive me!

So glad you stopped by my place at The Writer's Reverie - and that you are now curious about the rest of the Anne books and George MacDonald. You would love his fiction and devotional writing if you loved that quote. Michael Phillips, well known Christian fiction writer, has a great biography about MacDonald. His work is very inspired by MacDonald's writing. Check it out!

So glad you visited me at The Writer's Reverie and that you are curious about the rest of the Anne books and George MacDonald. Hope you check them all out - you'll be so blessed!
