Views from My Yard

The photos I've chosen for this month's Note Card Party, sponsored by Vee at A Haven for Vee, are all pictures taken from my yard at various times.  If you look, you will see that photos one and three are actually the same view, starring the same tree.

  1. Hi Angela, All are so pretty, and would be beautiful as printed notecards, I tried to pick my favorite but couldn't. Thank you for sharing.

  2. A lovely yard you have, Angela. I particularly like the color of that sky in the first after the storm and the misty one...yes, these would make a terrific note card set.

  6. You have beautiful property and trees! I love live oak trees. They don't grow here and when I first saw them in the south I was so amazed by how long and low the branches grow.

  20. Angela,

What a lovely yard; my mother used to jokingly refer to our yard as the "back 40 {acres}" - it was a huge overstatement for us, but it looks as though the description may actually fit your yard. Thanks for pointing out that pics 1 & 3 are of the same view ... I wouldn't have seen that, but it points out such an important photography lesson of how the same object can appear different when you change the perspective. I love all your tree photos but especially the one with the very moody blue sky. Can wait to see your post next time.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Let me know if I can ever help you figure anything out blog-wise. I certainly don't know everything, and am basically self-taught -- but I have learned a lot since I started 10/31/10, and am glad to share always! God bless! ~Sally
